Co Dělají Češí / What Czechs Do
This exhibition was part of Šumava Literatura’s 2025 festival program "Američané na Šumavě a v Bavorském lese" or “Americans in Šumava and the Bavarian Forest”, and the purpose was to exhibit Czech life through the eyes of an american photographer (that’s me!).
On opening day, I gave two talks hosted by my good friend and author, Martin Sichinger, about the images and my perspective on Czech life as an immigrant turned Czech citizen. The first talk was specifically for the local retirment home, the second was for guests who arrived for the official opening of the exhibition.
